Curious about tabletop roleplaying games? Teens ages 13-18 are invited to snack and learn all about roleplaying games with BOB from the future.
Teens can join BOB from the future for a fun, interactive conversation about roleplaying games. Topics covered include a brief history of roleplaying, description of terminology, and tips for creating your own
roleplaying experiences. You will learn what roleplaying is, how to run a campaign, different styles of play, and get any other questions answered.
While this program can be attended on its own, it pairs well with the class Roleplaying in Space - Adventures in Space, held on Monday July 29, 2024 from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM, which will give teens a chance to explore a tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) firsthand! The game Traveller will be used to provide the setting and mechanics to show how roleplaying works in a group setting around the table.
