Elizabeth Varas, Happiness Coach and Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner, guides people of all ages and fitness levels through seated exercises designed to encourage neuroplasticity.
Neuroplasticity (or brain plasticity) is the brain's ability to rewire itself. Ageless Grace helps to restore neuroplasticity by stimulating the five primary functions of the brain (strategic planning, memory and recall, analytical thinking, creativity and imagination, and kinesthetic learning) through unfamiliar movements, or by creating new ways to do an activity that is already familiar. The movements are spontaneous and organic with no need to learn any special choreography. Each tool also focuses on a primary physical skill necessary for lifelong optimal function: joint mobility, balance, spinal flexibility, upper body strength, and coordination.
This program is appropriate for all ages. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring water.
