Join us to learn about the amazing reptiles of Florida with special presenters Flamingo Gardens, and meet some special tortoises and turtles. (Best for ages 5 and up)
In this special program, kids will listen to the story The Foolish Tortoise by Eric Carle and have a live encounter with several of the turtles and tortoises from the Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary. Students will learn about the similarities and differences between these two reptiles, their native habitats and why they are important to our environment. This program includes a craft/drawing exercise.
*space is limited (20) - registration required for each attendee (call library for more detail).
