Prepare for the SAT with this intensive workshop. This program will be presented in person at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, for High School students in grades 10-12.
Join intensive in-person sessions to prepare for the SAT and ACT tests! Discover how prior student participants - who once considered themselves bad test-takers - easily increased their scores to earn Bright Futures scholarships and even enter prestigious colleges and universities, such as MIT, Harvard, and Stanford. Class sessions include Math, Grammar, & Reading practice test sections and intensive test-taking strategies. The main focal components include fundamentals, technique, recognition/reaction, and timing manipulation. This 10-hour intensive program is comparable to that of an expensive ACT or SAT test-prep course.
*Student participants are asked to commit to all 5 sessions.
Session Dates: Mondays and Thursdays, August 8/25, 8/28, 9/4, 9/8, 9/11, from 5:30pm -7:30pm.
Once you have committed to this 5 workshop, you will receive additional reminders via email or phone. Please call African American Research Library & Cultural Center at 954-357-6209 for more information.
