Calling all gardeners and plant lovers! Share your love of gardening by participating in our Seed Exchange—an opportunity to trade, explore, and expand your garden.
The Garden Club of Coral Springs provides this community resource that encourages gardening, sharing, and sustainability! Much like a traditional library, our Seed Exchange is built on the idea of borrowing and returning—but instead of books, you’ll find seeds. Members and guests are welcome to take home a packet or two of seeds to plant in their gardens. In return, we ask that you harvest seeds from your plants and bring some back to share with others. Together, we’ll keep the library flourishing season after season. You can drop off your seeds in bulk with instructions on growing if possible and we will do the packaging. We will also have a seed resource website (https://www.thelittleseedlibrary.org) You can order up to 6 packets of seeds in one order. You will be notified when your order is placed in the pick-up drawers at the exchange. Be sure to select your pick-up location at Northwest Regional Library.
The Seed Exchange will feature:
1. A Variety of Seeds: Vegetables, herbs, wildflowers, and Florida-friendly natives.
2. Growing Guides: Helpful tips to get you started, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gardener.
3. Community Sharing: An easy way to try new plants while giving back to fellow gardeners.
This initiative supports our mission of education, conservation, and fostering a love of gardening. It’s also a fun way to connect with one another, try new plants, and contribute to a sustainable future. Don’t have seeds to share yet? No worries, just take some home, enjoy your plants, and remember us at harvest time.
Let’s grow together!
