Join us for an engaging family workshop where participants will Students will envision their future and write autobiographies as young heroes who make a difference in their world, drawing inspiration from African American heroes. This is an excellent opportunity for youth and families to connect, learn, and grow together. Registration is required.
This monthly program is perfect for families who love to learn together. We'll discuss gratitude's role in various cultures and highlight how African American communities have supported each other through mutual aid societies and community events. Plus, we'll explore cultural practices like Kwanzaa, emphasizing community and giving, and see how its principles can inspire our projects.
