Join local filmmaker and author Nerissa Street to explore cross cultural storytelling traditions.
Creative writing workshop exploring unique storytelling traditions with participants' micro stories grounded in Broward County.
In “The Seed Keeper” by Diane Wilson personal and traditional storytelling is shared in linear and non-linear ways that enrich the history and legacy of the Dakhota people. Join local filmmaker and author Nerissa Street to explore cross cultural storytelling traditions. In this workshop participants will write their own short story that shares the legacy of our communities in Broward County.
Please note this is a workshop happening inside the library, in the Everglades Room, during Broward County Library's ArtLit 2026 program.
