Synopsis: In turn-of-the-century Europe, a Jewish teenage girl disguises herself as a boy to be permitted to study the Talmud.
3:00 PM: Annie Hall (1977) is an American satirical romantic comedy-drama film directed by Woody Allen.
Synopsis: Woody Allen cowrote and directed this Best Picture, and stars as a neurotic Jewish comedian and writer recounting the roller-coaster relationship he had with a kooky, WASPish aspiring singer. The film employs fantasy flashbacks, direct-to-camera monologues, subtitles and even a cartoon sequence to tell its tale.
5:00 PM: The Fabelmans (2022) is an American coming-of-age drama film directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg.
Synopsis: Inspired by true events, the narrative follows Sammy Fabelman on a journey of self-discovery. At the age of seven, Sammy lives a simple life with his parents Burt and Mitzi. After finding out an unsettling family secret, Sammy falls in love with cinema and its power to tell stories.
