This summer join the NSU Art Museum Docent Speakers Bureau for an illustrated talk focused on the Theory of Color and History of Art in celebration of “Color Our World/ Colorea Nuestro Mundo”.
The Psychology of Color: An artist chooses a combination of colors to capture a sunset, the infinite blues of the ocean, the color of a woman’s dress, or a distillation of nature. Experiencing art through the effects it has on the brain opens a new way to understand the connection between science and art. This program is presented by Lynne Lambert who taught English literature for three decades and now is a popular lecturer on art and literature.
