This presentation offers an in-depth look at the art and life of Walt Disney and discusses his impact on the development of cartoons, short and feature-length movies, and theme parks. Audiences will learn about Walt Disney’s contributions to animation, film, and the theme park and his impact on the history of Florida. A sub-theme of the presentation is the relationship between high art and popular culture, as exemplified by the Disney Studio and Walt Disney World.
