This is a social book club, and we read one book over the course of two months. This allows our members to read at a casual pace.

Odyssey Sci-Fi & Fantasy Book Club focuses on science fiction and fantasy written by women, people of color, and members of LGBTQIA+ communities. We occasionally read classic science fiction and fantasy to help contextualize the more contemporary narratives that we typically read. This book club is appropriate for people who are young adults and older. We meet online, on the first Monday of every month. For the June 2nd meeting, we will be reading The Changeling, by Victor LaValle (Chapter 1 to the end of Chapter 49). For the July 7th meeting, we will be reading The Changeling, by Victor LaValle (Chapter 50 to the end of the book). For the August 4th meeting, we will be reading The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, by Becky Chambers (Beginning - Page 222, including the entirety of Day 249, GC Standard 306, Cricket). For the September 8th meeting, we will be reading The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, by Becky Chambers (Page 223, Day 251, GC Standard 306, The Last War - End).
