The Jamaican Women of Florida (JWOF) will be hosting their 2023 High School Forum. The forum will address many issues students face with the college application process and the transition from High School into College.
Information will be provided on the JWOF Scholarship valued at $5,000 ($1,250 yearly).
JWOF “POWERFUL WOMEN…NEXT GENERATION” 4-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP -Awarded annually, this Scholarship is for a first or second-generation Jamaican-American female graduating from a State of Florida High School and planning to attend a post-secondary institution.
Focused on the organization’s mission to encourage emerging powerful women, JWOF’s 4-year Scholarship is valued at $5,000. It is intended to support the recipient’s achievement of her four-year education at a tertiary institution. JWOF’s goal is to subsidize the cost of tuition, books or other college-related expenses incurred at the institution.
