From the early 17th century to the present, women artists including Georgia O’Keeffe and Frida Kahlo have struggled for artistic recognition in the male-dominated art world.
Presented by the NSU Art Museum's Docent Speakers Bureau and sponsored by the Friends of the Galt Ocean Mile Reading Center.
This event is part of the Broward County Libraries Division’s 50th anniversary celebration. This presentation will also focus on women artists from the 1970s decade in honor of the Library Division's anniversary and Women's History Month!
