An afternoon of art, ideas and creativity in honor of Women's History Month. Tour the exhibition of visual art works by Yei Duran and participate in an art workshop.
2-4 pm. Participants will create art inspired by Yei Duran's art works that convey a message of identity, equity, diversity and inclusion. Supplies will be provided. Register to participate.
4-5 pm. Opening reception and live performance. Light refreshments courtesy of the Friends of the Library of Lauderdale Lakes. Vallenato Accordion Performance by Mauricio Arango. Free and open to the public. No registration required.

The National Women’s History Month’s theme for 2024 celebrates “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” The theme recognizes women throughout the country who understand that, for a positive future, we need to eliminate bias and discrimination entirely from our lives and institutions.
