Joe Dimaggio Children Hospital's - A Day for Children is Nova Southeastern University’s annual health literacy event to be held on Saturday, October 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For over 20 years, more than 100,000 residents have attended A Day for Children to obtain, process, and understand basic medical information that will help them make informed health decisions for their children and families.
The event showcases free and low-cost health and wellness services for children from birth to 16 years of age. Health care education and activities for vision, medical, speech, behavior, and dental health as well as physical and occupational therapy will be provided by NSU Health students and faculty.
Free games, activities, and food will be provided. Don't miss this FREE Family event! Attendee registration opens in late August.
