Free monthly interactive Black History lessons for youth and families.
Join us for an engaging family workshop where participants will create personal vision boards that reflect their goals, dreams, and aspirations while integrating elements of African American history and the African diaspora. This monthly program is perfect for families looking to learn together. We will explore pivotal moments and figures in African American history, the contributions of African Americans across various fields, cultural symbols, influential movements, and inspiring quotes from key historical figures. Sponsored by the Friends of the African American Research Library and Cultural and presented in partnership with Link up & Build Inc.
This is a wonderful opportunity for youth and families to connect, learn, and grow together. Registration is required.
