Curator Rochelle Pienn, Special Collections Librarian Emily Calderon, and Librarian Senior Gregory Hankins will show you how to browse and search the Special Collections finding aids and how to view the Digital Special Collections. From Black history to local history to vintage pop culture, a wide variety of resources are waiting for you.
Librarian Senior Gregory works in the Cybrary Computer Labs of the Broward Main Library. He has been teaching technology classes and helping customers access digital resources for several years. He also works as a Reference Librarian assisting with general research.
Emily Calderon is the Special Collections Librarian for the Bienes Museum of the Modern Book, Broward County Historical Archives, and the Archives and Special Collections at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center. She creates finding aids and oversees the organization of archival collections.
Rochelle T. Pienn is the Curator for the Bienes Museum of the Modern Book, The Broward County Historical Archives, and the Archives and Special Collections at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center. She creates and oversees exhibits for Broward County Libraries.
