Many older adults experience concerns about falling and, as a result, restrict their activities. The “A Matter of Balance Program” is an 8-week, 2-hour series. The program utilizes trained volunteer coaches to teach individuals practical strategies to prevent/manage falls as well as increase activity levels. Sessions include: videos, discussions, exercises, and a presentation by an allied healthcare professional. Participants must be aged 60 and older.
When you register for this class, you will automatically be registered for all dates in the series (8 weeks).
Registration is required. Participants must be age 60 or older and must attend by Week 2 (Jan. 14, 2025) to complete registration.
