Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

Veterans Day honors the service, sacrifice, and achievements of the nearly 22 million living Americans who serve our nation in uniform and memorializes the countless sacrifices made by previous generations.

The Veterans Day Parade is an annual parade produced by the United War Veterans Council in New York City. It is the largest Veterans Day event in the United States of America.
