Everglades RoomTeens entering 10th - 12th grade in the fall are invited to apply to volunteer this summer in the Youth Services department. Please read the instructions below.
To secure your position in the summer teen volunteer program, aspiring teen volunteers must attend one mandatory volunteer orientation with a parent or guardian. Sign up only for the orientation you will attend - duplicate registrations will be removed. *One teen per registration only.
Orientations:
1) Saturday, May 23 from 1:00pm-2:30pm
Sign up opens online on Monday, May 18 at 6pm.
OR
2) Wednesday, May 27 from 5:30pm-7:00pm
Sign up opens online on Tuesday, May 19 at 6pm.
Volunteer applications are provided at orientation for teens and parents/guardians to fill out. Only teens and parents in attendance will receive an application. Teens, please remember to bring your student ID or a photo ID for your application.
Minimal requirements:
- Teen must be entering 10th - 12th grade in the fall.
- Must be available to volunteer for 6 weeks or more from June 3rd - August 1st.
- Attend the mandatory volunteer orientation with a parent/guardian.
Limited number of volunteer positions are available at each orientation session. Registration will remain open until all spots are filled. Questions? Stop by the Youth Services desk or call 954-357-6733.
