Michael Bienes Seminar Room #2A guided songwriting workshop exploring song structure to process & preserve memory, connect with self and write your own freedom song.
In this intimate workshop, Inez guides participants through songwriting as a pathway toward healing and self-liberation. Rooted in the practice of listening to the inner child, this session invites you to gently engage memories, emotions, and stories that may still be asking for voice.
Together, we will explore the foundations of song structure—verse, chorus, melody—and use these tools to begin shaping personal narratives into song. Participants will be guided through prompts that draw from memory and feeling, creating space to process personal and generational memory, and reconnect with self through sound. No prior songwriting experience is needed—only a willingness to listen inward and express what arises.
Come as you are. Leave with the beginnings of a song—and perhaps a softer place to land within yourself.
