Summer Catapult Challenge
1st Floor Programming Room
Tuesday, July 14
4:00pm - 5:00pm
Design and build a small catapult from provided materials and then test its performance based on criteria like distance, accuracy, and engineering design.
"Come and test your design and building skills in the Catapult Design Challenge! Participants will use provided supplies (such as craft sticks, rubber bands, plastic spoons, etc.) to design and build their own catapults. Once constructed, we will test the creations to see which one can launch a small object the farthest or hit specific targets. This program is a hands-on opportunity to learn about potential and kinetic energy, the laws of motion, and the engineering design process."
