Celebrate creativity during National Clay Week with this hands-on terracotta workshop led by instructor Yani! Children will design their own animal sculptures by combining terracotta pots and shaping air-dry clay around them to bring their creatures to life.
Inspired by ancient pottery techniques and the CSLP theme “Unearth a Story,” participants will explore how clay has been used throughout history while creating a unique piece of art.
This program is intended for families. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to stay with their children during the program.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Century Plaza Library.
