This summer join the NSU Art Museum Docent Speakers Bureau for an illustrated talk focused on the Theory of Color and History of Art in celebration of “Color Our World/ Colorea Nuestro Mundo”.
Fort Lauderdale’s Fabulous Art: Since the NSU Art Museum’s founding in 1958, the permanent collection has grown to more than 7,500 items spanning a range of artistic movements. This program focuses on ways to connect these works across time and place and the recognition they have acquired. This program is presented by Marion Fass, a retired professor from Beloit College.
Marion Fass is professor emerita from Beloit College in Wisconsin where she taught environmental science and interdisciplinary studies. Marion has been a docent at the museum since 2019 and focuses her tours and Speakers Bureau presentations on how connections between artists shape their work.
